The one where I can almost smell freedom...

Tomorrow is finally my last examination which of course by default, the day I have been waiting for! And yes, I am supposed to be studying but I am taking a mini break right now. I am super excited because I have not met my friends for so long (kept postponing), and I owe Baobei quite a few proper dates although I seem him pretty often during the exam periods because he buys me surprise breakfast/lunch/cupcakes/dinner. But here's a breakdown of what is going to happen the next couple of weeks.

  • A proper foodie date with the fiancĂ© tomorrow and Saturday. I really mean feast!
  • Saturday is our 2nd appointment with Gurame, which one of my close friends was the bridesmaids to her friend who had the wedding there and I am super glad we picked that for our wedding because the decor was just so beautiful or my future MIL's words, "cantik and elegant!" So glad our wedding will be evening til night, and no I will not be revealing my wedding date here or anywhere in social media. You will know when it has happened... All you need to know it is in 2015 and it will be in January. After all what's an intimate wedding if I spill so many secrets? Oh yes, the blog entry here!
  • The life-changing moment coming on Sunday (#MPK2014) which I am hoping the rest of my loot will come by then for the blog post.
  • Meeting the tailors next week to settle the final design for our baju nikah, as well as what kind of fabrics I need to hunt for in Bandung.
  • The second MOH/Bridesmaid meeting to discuss their outfit and other miscellaneous things.
  • Bandung trip for mostly wedding things with Mak, Mama & Baba on the first week of June.
  • Krabi trip with Baobei and our orang kuats on the second week of June.
  • The unexpected KL trip, just us, that Baobei out of the blue said "I can take leave, we can go somewhere." Super sweet or what?! Okay just to explain the rationale, we had to cancel our Bachelorette/Bachelor Trip in November to Boracay because it is too near the wedding. So my Mak and Mama frowned upon it.

Okay, that's the small updates I have. The tiny things for the wedding like
  • wedding cards
  • wedding favours
  • DIY stuffs for the wedding day itself
  • ring shopping
  • booking of Tok Kadi
  • booking of honeymoon
Speaking of honeymoon, the actual plan to have it months later after our wedding because the place we wanted to go is low season in January, well we cancelled that too. It only makes sense if honeymoon is after the wedding, so yuppp. We are packing our bags after the wedding and leaving on Monday itself for 6D5N. Baobei picked the destination and I picked the sweetass villa.

That's pretty much it for now. See you Sunday here okay? I am back to studying! Last kopek so besok tak redha hahaha! Can't wait for tomorrow. Lots of XOs people.

//Oh the update about the not compulsory but highly, highly recommended kursus rumah tangga? We are forgoing it.

Post Update: I have replied comments too!

The one where I take a break to be a nerd...

I am on my study break and I am insanely busy trying to keep up with my hectic schedule, it is not funny anymore. Any chance I get to be in bed, is just paying my sleep debt. It is insanely crazy because I am currently taking 4 psychology modules, unlike next semester which I have picked 2 social science modules (urgh) that are compulsory. Next semester is more for my kids and last kopek preparations for The Wedding. I am so deprived of wedding plans right now, and I can't really think straight but I am so blessed to have a bunch of orang kuats who are brainstorming, and mind you they are my primary/poly/IG/NIE friends yet it is amazing they can get along real well. So many updates! You can expect me to be back, full blown, 23rd onwards. (I will also reply comments you girlies left on blog too!) The week the exams end, I am back to wedding appointments/errands. (Yup, I actually set the next Gurame appt the same weekend haha. Deprived habis!) I can't tell you how excited I am to be a bridezilla. The only question is should I reveal the wedding dress and the bridesmaids design here or you will only find out 8 months later? Hmmm...

Happy Mother's Day to my Mak (grandmother) who gave birth to my Mama and my aunties who I affectionately call Mummy, Mom and Ibu. To the rest of my aunties who are mummies. To my internet friends who are mummies and mummy-to-be, and a shout out to my current 2 fabbret preggers who are going to be mummies by next Mother's Day (and may give birth in December and may not be at my wedding *cries). Also to my future Mother-in-law, Ibu-Baobei, that I happen to be so grateful for bringing up such a wonderful man that knows how to take good care and loves me deeply.

Oh, Baobei is going to start back his skateboarding and gym after his IPPT. So to keep myself occupied with a lil me-time, I thought of doing yoga full-time. Only now, I just found out that my best friend wants to do it too. What?! Awesome ke apa sey.

31 days to Krabi with the LOML, Dok (best friend) and Wan (#SBST). The much needed break from Singapore with our Maid of Honour & Bestman.

Okay, stay healthy people. Positive thoughts.

The one where it is pointless...

In the midst of my crazy schedule and Baobei still busy at work as usual (kalau tak fight fire, fight dengan defective fire alarms), we have made a decision to sell Katt and buy a Katt v2. Nope, it will still be a 2B bike because I have procrastinating my last prac for class 2A while Baobei has a few more months before he no longer has the triangle. So we decided to get a faster Katt, only that Katt v2 will not be a ... (sigh) motard/scrambler. But here's to a better future for the both of us. Will update our new baby when we have finalised both sides, and hopefully it will be quick so Baobei doesn't have to take public to work.

It is less than 2 weeks to the start of my examinations and yet, I am already thinking of what awaits me when I am done. The wedding plan kickstarts again (YAYYY!) which I am dying to start because to be honest, I miss it. Plus Mama isn't making it easier by asking me what is the colour theme. I honestly can't decide. The orang kuats outfits too. Aiyah. But I tak kisah, because even the most bohchap bride to be can't help but plan since..... the wedding is going to hit the 8 months mark. Then there's the Bandung trip where I am going to hunt for the kain nikah. And to wrap up before puasa starts, KRABI BABY!

Just now I brought Mak out for lunch, and she dragged me to Courts to survey beds. I found the perfect bed hahaha but I told the salesperson that I will come back in November. Baobei said it was a good deal but tak kan I warm up the bed first right? Haha. I find it extremely adorable when Mak was having a conversation with the salesperson. Chicken and duck live action! But at least we know what kind of bed we want to get.

Okay lah, I know this blog entry is pointless and I owe you a Tiny Teatox 2. I will do it soon. I am planning to stay up to study so that I have more Baobei time when he comes over.
